Congratulations to Tanner Wrout for being selected as Player of the Week. #11 Tanner Wrout
Tanner had an impressive night running the ball with quick hitting precision, knifing through the heart of the Pacifica defense. He rushed 8 times for 119 yards, long of 41, and 3 TD’s of 1, 30, and 41 yards. He also recorded 7 total tackles, all of which were solo tackles, 2 sacks for -8 yards, and 1 QB hurry.

On the night our running game flourished, Jordan led all rushers with 191 yards on 21 carries, a long of 81 yards and 2 TD’s. He also had a big night on special teams as he set our offense up for our first TD of the night when he took a kick off from one yard deep in the end zone and returned it 85 yards to the 16 yard line. Jordan also recorded 5 total tackles, 4 solo, 1 assist, and 1 broken up pass on defense.

Tim has been a reliable kicker since he first stepped on to the field as a sophomore last year. He has continued his clutch kicking for our team this season while kicking off, lining up for PAT’s, and field goals. Tim was a perfect 2 for 2 kicking PAT’s; then with 2 seconds remaining in the game, Tim nailed a 26 yard Field Goal to win the game against Dos Pueblos.

James led the defense with a stellar performance in a hard fought battle against the Dons. He recorded 13 total tackles, 6 solo, and 7 assists, 2 broken up passes, and an interception which he returned 9 yards. When the game came down to the final minutes and we need to make a defensive stop, James came up with the big interception to ice the game.

Trenton stepped up to lead the team at QB showing a grit and determination that the offense responded to.
