Congratulations to Kristin Ebeltoft for being selected as Player of the Week. Kristen is the leader of the Lady Runner defense. She was tasked with teaching a defnsive line that has not played together in the past and coordinating their movements. To date the season has beenrough on the defense, but Kristin is coordinating an aggressive line with interchangeable reserves. Kristin leads by example by playing at 100% of her capacity every game. Kristin is the cornerstone of our defense and looks forward to league play.View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Kamre Kelson for being selected as Player of the Week. Leadership, desire, skill and a desire to win our a few ways to describe Kamre. This is her first season with the Lady Runners and she has already garnered a starting position. Although her sport of choice is volleyball, Kamre is at the beginning of a standout soccer season. Opponents often double team Kamre, although her speed always provides several stellar runs on goal. To date, her four goals and two assists tally near the team lead, and with 15 games left, Kamre will easily add to those totals. Although quiet and unassuming, Kamre has already taken over a role as a team leader. With her ability, Kamre will soon have soccer and volleyball coaches looking to hone her athletic skills. Congratulations to McKenzie Draper for being selected as Player of the Week. McKenzie is a stand out athlete who volunteered to take over the goal keeping duties for the Lady Runners. Although she does not have a lot of experience, her athleticism and desire will evolve into an outstanding keeper of the future. McKenzie is utilizing her Varsity volleyball and softball skill in the development of her soccer skills. She has one recorded shutout to date and her goal is four shutouts during her first season. The Lady Runners season will hinge on McKenzie's skill development and defensive leadership!View Previous Selections
