Watson again demonstrated provided tremendous leadership on the field by her performance against Bishop O'Dowd and Arroyo. It's no secret that she is the outstanding speed player in HAAL. However, not as well known is her multiplicity of outstanding ball-control skills. Faced with continuous double- and triple-teaming opponents, she poses a scoring threat with or without the ball at her feet. A skilled passer, she played striker and center midfielder this week. Nathalia, a freshman, played outstanding as the left outside midfielder against Castro Valley and Mt. Eden. Her smooth an skillfully quick ballhandling ability allows her to be an important part of San Leandro's possession-time on offense.
