Congratulations to Shadow Ansaldi for being selected as Player of the Year. The senior was without question a playmaker on the field. Ansaldi, a four-year veteran, led the Pirates with ten goals and was tied for first on the team with 4 assists. Ansaldi provided some heroics in a 2-2 tie with Banning of Wilmington on 1/13/2012, scoring both goals, including the one that forced the tie with one second left. It was her most amazing moment for the Pirates, who captured their seventh straight Marine League title and a CIF-Los Angeles City Section playoff quarterfinal berth.View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Celine Bertrand for being selected as Player of the Week. The senior scored the only goal in the 27th minute for the Pirates in their 3-1 loss to Cleveland of Reseda in the CIF-LACS Division I quarterfinals. It was Bertrand's second goal of the season for the Marine League champions, who finish at 10-7-4 overall.View Previous Selections
