Congratulations to Lorenzo Johnson for being selected as Player of the Week. Lorenzo played inspiring football against his arch rival. He set the tone for the next season and should step in as starting QB next fall. What's on the horizon? Movies, "Zo" plans on picking up acting and playing a role as a white nurse on general hospital. He already has the curves and the lines down. View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Matt Lualemana for being selected as Player of the Week. Matt was a jack of all trades Friday night. He played D line and Linebacker on defense and running back on offense. He constantly pounded ball carriers and ran with enthusiasm on offense. No matter the score, Matt played his little heart out. After high school, Matt plans on joining "The Biggest Loser" as he already made headlines in trimming his body fat down. Richard Simmons already gave him a call to make a cameo on one of his videos. Next up, he plans on being in a Beyonce video as a tree stump. View Previous Selections

Congratulations to David Maposua for being selected as Player of the Week. David's haka face could scare the hair off a Camel in the middle of a sand storm. A team Captain, David is a quiet and humble leader. He leads by example and by flexing his muscles when he needs to. The pressure of his role is carried greatly by this young man. In the future, David's plans are to pose clothed for Playgirl magazine, climb Mount Everest, win the chubby bunny national championship, and farm cream puffs in Tahiti. View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Eric Aviles for being selected as Player of the Week. Eric constistently shows week in and week out why he is one of the top Defensive Linemen in the county. He led his team mates bringing an insurmountable amount of pressure last week and showed a gigantic heart when he took a fumble 65 yards for Seaside's only Touchdown. "Oso" aka "The Destroyer" aka "Skittle Beanz" aka "Mr. 6-pack o buttah" aka "Give Jon my lunch money for me" aka "2 tons o funz" aka "Gotz 3 girlfriends and a doll" leads by example and is always motivating his team with his play on the field and his kind heart off of it. Eric wants to be a goat herder on his own land in the mountains of Syria. Hopes to find a sincere woman who loves long walks down a buffet line, can recite the entire cook book of McDonald's, and can beat him up mentally as well as physically. Longs to be slapped by a spachela. View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Samson Tonga for being selected as Player of the Week. Samson led his Defense with passion and thunderous blitzes throughout the night. He was in on a barrage of tackles and came through at the end with two sacks and a forced fumble. Samson holds complete disregard for his body when he plays and lifted his defense's play with his nonstop motor. He wants to become a hair stylist in the future focusing on island style braiding. Please see him for appointments and more details. View Previous Selections

Donte was everywhere on the field in the valiant comeback. Donte wishes to join the "Thunder from Down Under" show in Las Vegas when he's older and only time will tell if he's got what it takes to realize that dream. View Previous Selections

Congratulations to Marcus Hopkins for being selected as Player of the Week. Marcus showed heart and passion in the Spartans' losing effort. Although things did not pan out the way Seaside hoped, Marcus always gave his best out there on the football field. He stepped into the linebacker spot this week and inspired his team mates with his exceptional play. Marcus wants to be an insurance adjustor and feed homeless people homemade pot stickers in the future. View Previous Selections
