Congratulations to Will Hoppes for being selected as the Varsity Football Player of the Year. Will Hoppes, Senior Quarterback, Tri Cities Prep High School, Pasco, Washington finishes his high school career as the nations all-time career 8-man passing and total yardage leader.
Will Hoppes set (7) Washington State Career and Game Passing Records, (6) National Career/Game Passing Records, (21) Tri-Cities Prep School Records.
He set National 8-Man Career Records with 10,537 yards passing, 13,251 total yards (pass & run combined), 142 career TD passes, and 593 career completions.
Hoppes senior season (2009) he completed 70% of his passes for 3,062 yards and 47 touchdowns. He also rushed for 872 yards and 13 more scores.
He led Tri-Cities Prep to the State 1B Championship where he was 27-33 for 552 yards and 10 touchdowns in the title game victory.
He also maintained a 3.7 GPA at the college preparatory high school located in Pasco, Washington.View Previous Selections
