  6. Player of the Year - Ben Stiver

    Congratulations to #25 Ben Stiver who was choosen as the Player of the Year.

    Ben Stiver had a great senior year! His unselfish play and leadership by example will be missed by the Troy Basketball Program. Ben never missed a practice or an open gym, while maintaining a stellar academic record. His team leadership was shown at Buena Park when he surged to 27 points after 3 quarters of play. Rather than push toward individual numbers, he concentrated on passing the ball into his team mates, whose confidence he was trying to build for the next game against Sonora which could have lead to a league championship. His play was rewarded as he lead the team in scoring (480 pts), rebounding (241 rbs), and blocked shots (19).
