Congratulations to Karrie Brady for being selected as Player of the Week. Every season you get a player that seems to blossom out of nowhere. This year it is Karrie Brady. Her level of play has far exceeded my expectations for her this year. Karrie hard work and dedication at practice has turned her into a coach's dream defender. She is tall, physical, relentless and is a fowards worst nightmare. She started this season coming off the bench, and has now earned the starting sweeper position. Karrie is only a freshman and has plenty of time to shine.View Previous Selections

Posted: Wed, Jan 26 2011 Congratulations to Brittany Wade for being selected as Player of the Week. One thing every team needs and hopes for is a good keeper. A good keeper can keep a team competitive even if they are being dominated on the field. We are lucky enough to have a goal keeper who does this for us game in and game out. Brittany Wade can make extraordinary saves look routine. If it wasn't for her efforts in goal we could easily have lost nearly every game. She is the foundation of the defense and is only a freshman, so we get to see her talents for another three years.View Previous Selections

Posted: Thu, Jan 13 2011 Congratulations to Rebecca Raines for being selected as Player of the Week. This weeks player of the week, Rebecca, hasn't played organized soccer since elementry school. But watching her play you would think she was a seasoned vet. She has work extremly hard all season long and has earned the starting right midfield position. Rebecca scored the first goal of the season for the team and has flourished ever since. She contiunes to improve every week and the sky's the limit for her. Posted: Thu, Jan 06 2011 Congratulations to Dakota Smith for being selected as Player of the Week. Definsive players rarely get the recognition that offensive players recieve. They quietly do the dirty work that is required for the team to win. Dakota is our outside defender, who helped our team limit Desert Mirage to only four shots on goal. She won just about every 50/50 ball, out hustled, physically out played and frustrated the opposing foward. From the first minute to the last, Dakota played with a relentless desire to dominate.View Previous Selections

She is never misses a practice and can play any midfield or forward position. She is supportive of her teammates and coaches which is appreciated by all. Posted: Thu, Dec 16 2010 Congratulations to Alizabeth Ogdahl for being selected as Player of the Week. We did not have a game this week, but Alizabeth performed superbly in this long week of practice. She also pulled off one of the best jukes I've seen in a long time, and made great decisions during a scrimmage. She never complains and always does what is asked of her. To top the week off, Alizabeth ran 13.2 miles to lead our team in the annual jog-a-thon fundraiser. She has scored one goal so far this season, and I'm sure there is more to come.View Previous Selections

Posted: Tue, Nov 30 2010 Congratulations to Hannah Sutherland for being selected as Player of the Week. Hannah's relentless pressure and good decision making kept the opposing defense on their heels.
