Congratulations to Aaron Murphy for being selected as Player of the Week. Aaron had a big game this week recording a career high 9 steals from a top ranked Vista team. Murphy showed great discipline and intelligence in containing the attack to the outside and attacking the ball aggressively when given the opportunity. In addition, there were a number of times during the game that Aaron quickly came to the center to play outstanding help defense. Posted: Mon, Oct 24 2011 Congratulations to Bryce Yaple for being selected as Player of the Week. Bryce has been the difference maker for our offense this past week. Bryce has shown determination, confidence, and reckless abandon to put shots on goal which we have desperately needed as a team. In result, Bryce recorded 4 shots, 1 assist, and 2 goals in the last two games against two teams that are playoff hopefuls. The most intriquing thing about Bryce this week is that he was excused off the field for a uniform violation and quikly walked back on to the field to replace his brother who had temporary issues with his eyes, without even asking me for permission. As a freshman, Bryce has the confidence and pure competitive spirit that will be a pleasure to coach for the next 3 years!View Previous Selections

Posted: Mon, Oct 17 2011 Congratulations to Lorenzo Lopez for being selected as Player of the Week. Lorenzo has been a big contribution for defending the middle of the field, ball possession, and attacks on goal. In result, Lorenzo averaged 11 passes, 6 steals, and a couple powerful shots on goal over the last two games. In every game Lorenzo puts one hundred percent effort into challenging every ball and distributing every pass. He is with no doubt a "team player". Unselfish in his approach to every game and extremely coachable. He has been an absolute pleasure to coach and a inspiration to his teamates. Thanks Lorenzo!View Previous Selections

Posted: Mon, Oct 10 2011 Congratulations to Isaac Williams for being selected as Player of the Week. Isaac had the best game of his high school career against Consumnes Oaks. Isaac had recorded 17 saves against a fast and profecient offense. Isaac displayed pure confidence through every sacrificial slide and deflection. In everything he did he showed an absence of doubt and dedication. His presence and leadership was an inspiration to his team and coach. Not sure if I will ever see such an inspiring performance! Posted: Wed, Oct 05 2011 Congratulations to Spencer Yaple for being selected as Player of the Week. This week has been a great turning point for our team chemistry and a lot has to do with the leadership and encouragement of Spencer. Spencer has stepped up as a leader to help others and contribute a positive vibe that has rubbed off on others. In addition, Spencer has been a top performer of the team contributing an average of 16 passes and 6 steals for the past two games which has been the key to our possession in the middle of the field.
