      Marshall is selected as player of the game because she held it down on the back line for us the entire game and then when she was moved to the forward line, she kept her composure and put a ball in the back of the net for her first goal of the season!

      Caroline was chosen as player of the game. She played strong and solid on the back line for the Lady Trojans today. We really needed a strong defense and she kept her composure and helped get the ball forward when we really needed it.

      Bridget was player of the game. She started the game and made a big difference shutting down the midfield. She then came off the bench late in the game to score the game winning goal in overtime!

      Chelsea is chosen as player of the game this week because each time she stepped on the field, the momentum for WA changed. She was also instrumental in the goal that was scored. She challenged the keeper and had an assist. She had great energy and put a lot of pressure on CHC.

      Marshall is selected as player of the game because she dominated the defensive side for Walsingham today. She completely shut out NSA and got the ball moving up the field in the attack for WA. Marshall played a huge part in our win today.

      Reilly scored a goal late in the 2nd half to allow Walsingham to go in to overtime. She put lots of pressure on the defense and was a huge help offensively for the Lady Trojans.

      Christine McBeath was chosen as player of the game because she was instrumental in making plays happen in the first half. She won almost every ball in the air, had great passes and played quickly. She also showed a lot of growth in being positive and uplifting to her teammates.

      Delaney was chosen as player of the game because she had a stellar performance. Delaney stepped up and came in huge for some big saves. She shut down the let flank and made it difficult for the other team to make anything happen on that side of the field. She was a consistent defender and fought hard for every single ball.

      Bridget was chosen as player of the game because she controlled the middle and settled the game down. Every time she was involved in a play, our team was able to find a passing sequence. She had an excellent game.

      Meredith was selected as player of the game because she came off the bench and made an immediate impact for the team. Not only did she make an impact on the field, but when she was on the bench she was motivating for her teammates. Her energy on the field and on the bench oozed in to her teammates and helped them battle for most of the game.

      Bella was the player of this game because of the intensity and heart she brought to the field. Bella went after every ball and ran herself until she was exhausted and still did not give up. She gave the Lady Trojans lots of opportunities in front of the goal.

      Marissa had 4 shots on goal and saved all 4. She came out on three of those occasions to stop a 1v1. Marissa came up huge with those saves and that enabled the Lady Trojans to maintain the 1-0 victory.

      Delaney stepped up as an 8th grader and played an amazing game for the Varsity Lady Trojans. She made it difficult for the opponents to get by her, used her speed to get back to defend, played aggressive and completely held her ground at the outside back position. The Lady Trojans are looking forward to seeing how Delaney continues to develop and look forward to seeing what else she will bring to the field each game.
