Over the season he gave up only 9 earned runs for a 2.05 ERA. Paul finished his career as the #2 all time career strikeout leader. At the plate Paul was 2nd on the team in batting average (.419), 1st in hits (13), 1st in HR (2), 1st in runs scored (15), and 1st in RBI (18)."
