December 28, 2016: San Antonio, TX 78214 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the East Central Hornets (San Antonio, TX) and the host Harlandale Indians (San Antonio, TX), saw East Central's basketball squad wallop Harlandale by a tally of 79-54.
With the victory, East Central improves its record to 9-8 on the campaign. The Hornets host Smithson Valley (Spring Branch, TX) to play the Rangers in a 6A Region IV District 27 challenge on Tuesday, January 3. The Rangers come into the challenge with a record of 5-9. Smithson Valley lost 68-54 in their recent non-league challenge against Roosevelt (San Antonio, TX)
Next up, the Indians play the Holy Cross Knights (San Antonio, TX) in a non-league challenge, on Tuesday, January 3. Harlandale will attempt to improve on its 9-9 season record. The Knights come into the challenge with a 3-9 record after their 68-43 non-league loss to Boerne-Champion (Boerne, TX).
