Mississippi High School Basketball - Kossuth holds off Biggersville
January 8, 2015: Kossuth, MS 38834 Fans at Thursday's non-league challenge between the Kossuth Aggies (Kossuth, MS) and the visiting Biggersville Lions (Corinth, MS), saw Kossuth's basketball squad hold off Biggersville by a tally of 59-58.
With the victory, Kossuth improves its record to 9-4 on the campaign. The Aggies host Mooreville (Mooreville, MS) to confront the Troopers in a 3A Region 1 challenge on Tuesday, January 13. The Troopers come into the challenge with a record of 2-13.
Next up, the Lions confront the Wheeler Eagles (Wheeler, MS) in a 1A Region 1 challenge, on Tuesday, January 13. Biggersville will attempt to improve on its 7-10 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 7-7 record after their 57-41 non-league win over Mantachie (Mantachie, MS).
