Indiana High School Basketball - Daleville ripped by Potter's House Christian
December 12, 2010: Daleville, IN 47334 The Potter's House Christian Lions basketball team scored 107 points and held the host Daleville Broncos to 19 in the Lions non-league triumph on Sunday.
The Lions now sport a 10-1 record. They put it on the line next when they host Arlington Country Day for a Freelance contest on Tuesday, December 14.
The Broncos (2-7) will now prepare for their contest against Cowan (Muncie, IN). The Blackhawks enter the Mid-Eastern contest with a 0-7 record. In their last contest, Cowan was routed by Blue River Valley (Mt. Summit, IN), 42-28, in a league contest.
First Quarter
After a cancelation do to weather on Saturday the Lady Lions came out Sunday clicking on all cylinders and jumped out to a 29 -2 lead at the end of the first quarter . Antoinette Bannister lead the way scoring 11points with Shalethia Strungfield adding 6points.
Second Quarter
Antoinette Bannister continued her assault on the nets and added 13 more points in the second quarter for a total of 24 points in the first half. Loliya Briggs added another 6 points and The Lady Lions went into halftime with a 59-9 lead.
Third Quarter
The third quarter was a mirror image of the first two because Antoinette Bannister continued to score at will and addede 12 more points to her total and the Lady Lions added 26 more points to end the quarter 85-17.
Fourth Quarter
The Lady Lions closed the game scoring 22 points to take their record to 11-1 on the season and look forward to playing at home on Tuuesday against Arlington Country Day and Dec. 17th, 18th, and 19th at The PHCA Holiday Jam Hoopfest.
