California High School Basketball - Garden Grove holds off Artesia
December 26, 2018: Garden Grove, CA 92840 Fans at Wednesday's non-league challenge between the Garden Grove Argonauts (Garden Grove, CA) and the visiting Artesia Pioneers (Lakewood, CA), saw Garden Grove's basketball squad hold off Artesia by a tally of 65-59.
With the victory, Garden Grove improves its record to 12-2 on the campaign. The Argonauts travel to Loara (Anaheim, CA) to confront the Saxons in a non-league challenge on Thursday, December 27. The Saxons come into the challenge with a record of 10-6. Loara won 64-48 in their recent non-league challenge against Hawthorne (Hawthorne, CA)
Next up, the Pioneers confront the Hueneme Vikings (Oxnard, CA) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 27. Artesia will attempt to improve on its 8-7 season record. The Vikings come into the challenge with a 5-5 record after their 69-43 non-league win over Calvary Chapel (Downey, CA).
