North Carolina High School Basketball - Lake Norman nips Hough

Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad hold off the host Hough Huskies (Cornelius, NC), 50-47 in a league bout.

With the victory, Lake Norman upgrades its record to 7-12 on the campaign. The Wildcats host Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a I-Meck 4A bout on Tuesday, January 30. The Blue Devils come into the bout with a record of 10-8. Mooresville lost 63-49 in their recent league bout against Zebulon B. Vance (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Huskies play the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) in a I-Meck 4A bout, on Tuesday, January 30. Hough will attempt to upgrade on its 11-8 season record. The Vikings come into the bout with a 12-7 record after their 64-63 league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
