October 6, 2012: St. Johnsbury, VT 05819 The crowd at Saturday's league contest between the Hartford Hurricanes (White River Junction, VT) and the host St. Johnsbury Academy Hilltoppers (St. Johnsbury, VT), observed Hartford's football squad defeat St. Johnsbury Academy by a count of 35-7.
The Hurricanes now own a 6-0 record. They play next when they host Burlington for a Division I contest on Friday, October 12. Hartford will clash with a Seahorses squad coming off a 20-12 league win over Brattleboro (Brattleboro, VT). The Seahorses record now stands at 2-4.
The Hilltoppers (1-5) will now prepare for their match against Mt. Mansfield (Jericho, VT). The Cougars enter the Division I match with a 1-5 record. In their last match, Mt. Mansfield dropped by South Burlington (South Burlington, VT), 28-12, in a league match.
