The Weimar Wildcats basketball team scored 42 points and held the host Louise Hornets to 29 in the Wildcats league triumph on Tuesday.

The Wildcats now sport a 18-14 record. They put it on the line next when they host Flatonia for a 2A Region IV District 28 contest on Friday, February 2. Weimar will meet a Bulldogs team coming off a 42-28 league win over Ganado (Ganado, TX). The Bulldogs record now stands at 12-17.

The Hornets (5-8) will now prepare for their contest against Shiner (Shiner, TX). The Comanches enter the 2A Region IV District 28 contest with a 11-10 record.
