January 14, 2017: Sheboygan, WI 53081 Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran Blazers (Green Bay, WI) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the host Sheboygan Area Lutheran Crusaders (Sheboygan, WI), 85-72 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Green Bay N.E.W. Lutheran upgrades its record to 6-5 on the season. The Blazers travel to Oconto (Oconto, WI) to clash with the Blue Devils in a Packerland bout on Monday, January 16. The Blue Devils go into the bout with a record of 9-3. Oconto won 56-38 in their recent league bout against Algoma (Algoma, WI)
Next up, the Crusaders clash with the Oostburg Flying Dutchmen (Oostburg, WI) in a Big East bout, on Tuesday, January 17. Sheboygan Area Lutheran will attempt to upgrade on its 7-5 season record. The Flying Dutchmen go into the bout with a 4-7 record after their 71-51 league loss to Hilbert (Hilbert, WI).
