Illinois High School Basketball - Joliet Central nudges Stagg
December 3, 2018: Palos Hills, IL 60465 Joliet Central Steelmen (Joliet, IL) backers were in high spirits Monday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Stagg Chargers (Palos Hills, IL), 42-36 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Joliet Central upgrades its record to 4-1 on the season. The Steelmen travel to Romeoville (Romeoville, IL) to clash with the Spartans in a SouthWest Prairie bout on Friday, December 7. The Spartans go into the bout with a record of 3-0. Romeoville won 77-72 in their recent non-league bout against Joliet Central (Joliet, IL)
Next up, the Chargers clash with the Sandburg Eagles (Orland Park, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban - Blue bout, on Friday, December 7. Stagg will attempt to upgrade on its 4-2 season record. The Eagles go into the bout with a 3-3 record after their 75-49 non-league loss to Thornton (Harvey, IL).
