December 14, 2018: Las Cruces, NM 88011 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Centennial Hawks (Las Cruces, NM) and the visiting Piedra Vista Panthers (Farmington, NM), saw Centennial's basketball squad hold off Piedra Vista by a tally of 52-51.
With the victory, Centennial improves its record to 5-1 on the campaign. The Hawks travel to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM) to confront the Rams in a non-league challenge on Saturday, December 15. The Rams come into the challenge with a record of 3-0. Rio Rancho won 59-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Belen (Belen, NM)
Next up, the Panthers confront the Belen Eagles (Belen, NM) in a non-league challenge, on Saturday, December 15. Piedra Vista will attempt to improve on its 5-2 season record. The Eagles come into the challenge with a 3-1 record after their 59-30 non-league loss to Rio Rancho (Rio Rancho, NM).
