North Carolina High School Football - South Robeson crushed by Fairmont
November 5, 2018: Rowland, NC 28383 In Monday's league game, the Fairmont Golden Tornadoes (Fairmont, NC) football team smashed the host South Robeson Mustangs (Rowland, NC), by a final score of 49-14.
The Golden Tornadoes (4-6) will now prepare for their game against West Columbus (Cerro Gordo, NC). The Vikings come into the Three Rivers 1A/2A game with a 2-8 record. In their last game, West Columbus was trounced by East Columbus (Lake Waccamaw, NC), 19-8, in a league game.
The Mustangs now hold a 1-9 record. They take the field next when they travel to St. Pauls for a Three Rivers 1A/2A game on Friday, November 9. South Robeson will battle a Bulldogs team coming off a 7-0 league win over Red Springs (Red Springs, NC). The Bulldogs record now stands at 7-3.
