October 7, 2016: Ashburn, VA 20147 The Yorktown Patriots football team (Arlington, VA), was beaten 29-7 in Friday's non-league challenge with the host Broad Run Spartans (Ashburn, VA)
The Spartans (4-2) will now prepare for their challenge against Stone Bridge (Ashburn, VA). The Bulldogs come into the Potomac challenge with a 5-1 record. In their last challenge, Stone Bridge achieved victory over Robinson (Fairfax, VA), 36-21, in a non-league challenge.
The Patriots now sport a 2-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to McLean for a Liberty challenge on Friday, October 14. Yorktown will meet a Highlanders team coming off a 49-14 non-league loss to Chantilly (Chantilly, VA). The Highlanders record now stands at 0-6.
