West Virginia High School Basketball - Princeton over Bluefield
February 4, 2011: Bluefield, WV 24701 Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Princeton Tigers (Princeton, WV) and the host Bluefield Beavers (Bluefield, WV), saw Princeton's basketball squad knock off Bluefield by a score of 50-34.
With the victory, Princeton improves its record to 8-6 on the campaign. The Tigers host Hurricane (Hurricane, WV) to battle the Redskins in a Mountain State challenge on Saturday, February 5. The Redskins come into the challenge with a record of 3-11. Hurricane won 69-63 in their recent league challenge against St. Albans (St. Albans, WV)
Next up, the Beavers battle the PikeView Panthers (Princeton, WV) in a Coalfield AA challenge, on Tuesday, February 8. Bluefield will attempt to improve on its 10-5 season record. The Panthers come into the challenge with a 7-5 record after their 60-50 league loss to Independence (Coal City, WV).
