Freedom Patriots (Tampa, FL) fans exited the stadium thrilled Friday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Gaither Cowboys (Tampa, FL), 6-5 in a league test.

With the win, Freedom upgrades its record to 2-0 on the season. The Patriots host Leto (Tampa, FL) to battle the Falcons in a 5A District 9 test on Tuesday, February 22. The Falcons come into the test with a record of 1-0. Leto won 10-4 in their recent league test against Chamberlain (Tampa, FL)

With the defeat, Gaither falls to 3-1 on the season. The Cowboys host Hillsborough (Tampa, FL) to battle the Terriers in a 5A District 9 test on Tuesday, February 22. The Terriers come into the test with a record of 0-3. Hillsborough lost 8-7 in their recent league test against King (Tampa, FL)
