Kentucky High School Football - Montgomery County sneaks past West Jessamine
October 3, 2014: Nicholasville, KY 40356 The Montgomery County Indians (Mt. Sterling, KY) football edged the host West Jessamine Colts (Nicholasville, KY), 27-20 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Indians face the East Jessamine Jaguars (Nicholasville, KY) in a 5A District 6 bout, on Friday, October 10. Montgomery County will attempt to move on its 3-4 season record. The Jaguars enter the bout with a 2-3 record after their 39-21 league win over Franklin County (Frankfort, KY).
The Colts (1-5) will now prepare for their bout against Anderson County (Lawrenceburg, KY). The Bearcats enter the 5A District 6 battle with a 4-2 record. In their last battle, Anderson County tipped Woodford County (Versailles, KY), 35-7, in a league battle.
