Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the North Mecklenburg Vikings (Huntersville, NC) and the host Lake Norman Wildcats (Mooresville, NC), saw North Mecklenburg's basketball squad wallop Lake Norman by a count of 88-46.

With the victory, North Mecklenburg upgrades its record to 14-2 on the campaign. The Vikings travel to Mooresville (Mooresville, NC) to play the Blue Devils in a I-Meck 4A challenge on Friday, January 25. The Blue Devils come into the challenge with a record of 5-11. Mooresville lost 76-66 in their recent league challenge against Mallard Creek (Charlotte, NC)

Next up, the Wildcats play the West Charlotte Lions (Charlotte, NC) in a I-Meck 4A challenge, on Friday, January 25. Lake Norman will attempt to upgrade on its 8-9 season record. The Lions come into the challenge with a 11-5 record after their 72-68 league loss to Hopewell (Huntersville, NC).
