In Friday's league match, the visiting Solon Spartans football squad scored a big 35-0 victory over the Marion Indians.

In their next game, the Spartans clash with the Washington Demons (Washington, IA) in a non-league match, on Friday, September 25. Solon will attempt to move on its 2-2 season record. The Demons enter the match with a 3-1 record after their 23-0 league win over Fairfield (Fairfield, IA).
