Spectators at Tuesday's league battle between the Slidell Tigers (Slidell, LA) and the host Ponchatoula Green Wave (Ponchatoula, LA), saw Slidell's baseball squad edge Ponchatoula by a count of 7-6.

Coming up next, the Tigers play the Mandeville Skippers (Mandeville, LA) in a 5A District 6 battle, on Thursday, April 14. Slidell will attempt to move on its 9-15 season record. The Skippers enter the battle with a 7-16 record after their 4-2 league loss to Ponchatoula (Ponchatoula, LA).
