Kentucky High School Football - Gallatin County sneaks past Owen County
October 21, 2016: Owenton, KY 40359 The Gallatin County Wildcats (Warsaw, KY) football edged the host Owen County Rebels (Owenton, KY), 14-13 in Friday's league bout.
In their next game, the Wildcats face the Middletown Christian Eagles (Franklin, OH) in a non-league bout, on Friday, October 28. Gallatin County will attempt to advance on its 6-3 season record. The Eagles enter the bout with a 9-1 record after their 44-0 league win over Reigning Sports Thunder (Columbus, OH).
The Rebels (4-5) will now prepare for their bout against Eminence (Eminence, KY). The Warriors enter the non-league bout with a 4-5 record. In their last bout, Eminence was nudged by Holy Cross (Louisville, KY), 42-12, in a league bout.
