New Mexico High School Football - Hot Springs felled by Silver
October 14, 2016: Silver City, NM 88061 The Hot Springs Tigers football team (Truth or Consequences, NM), was knocked off 35-22 in Friday's league challenge with the host Silver Fighting Colts (Silver City, NM)
The Fighting Colts (3-5) will now prepare for their challenge against Hatch Valley (Hatch, NM). The Bears come into the 4A District 3 challenge with a 6-1 record. In their last challenge, Hatch Valley knocked off Socorro (Socorro, NM), 54-26, in a league challenge.
The Tigers now sport a 4-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Cobre for a 4A District 3 challenge on Friday, October 21. Hot Springs will meet a Indians team coming off a 20-16 league win over Silver (Silver City, NM). The Indians record now stands at 3-4.
