February 25, 2012: Lockney, TX 79241 Lockney Longhorns (Lockney, TX) fans exited the stadium thrilled Saturday as they observed their baseball squad hold off the visiting Claude Mustangs (Claude, TX), 11-10 in a non-league test.
With the win, Lockney upgrades its record to 1-1 on the season. The Longhorns host West Texas (Stinnett, TX) to battle the Comanches in a non-league test on Saturday, March 10. The Comanches come into the test with a record of 3-3.
With the defeat, Claude falls to 1-1 on the season. The Mustangs travel to Arbor Christian Academy (Amarillo, TX) to battle the Lions in a non-league test on Tuesday, February 28. The Lions come into the test with a record of 1-4. Arbor Christian Academy lost 13-0 in their recent non-league battle against Bushland (Bushland, TX)
