Illinois High School Volleyball - Lincoln-Way East nudged by Cary-Grove
September 29, 2018: Cary, IL 60013 The Lincoln-Way East Griffins volleyball team (Frankfort, IL), was nudged 2-1 in Saturday's non-league challenge with the host Cary-Grove Trojans (Cary, IL)
The Trojans (9-11) will now prepare for their challenge against Dundee-Crown (Carpentersville, IL). The Chargers enter the Fox Valley challenge with a 2-15 record. In their last challenge, Dundee-Crown was nudged by Prairie Ridge (Crystal Lake, IL), 2-0, in a league challenge.
Next, the Griffins encounter the Homewood-Flossmoor Vikings (Flossmoor, IL) in a SouthWest Suburban challenge, on Tuesday, October 2. Lincoln-Way East will attempt to move on its 11-14 season record. The Vikings enter the challenge with a 17-7 record after their 2-0 non-league loss to Lakes (Lake Villa, IL).
