The South Wolverines basketball team scored 50 points and held the visiting Thunder Mountain Falcons to 41 in the Wolverines non-league triumph on Saturday.

The Wolverines now sport a 5-12 record. They put it on the line next when they host Kenai Central for a non-league contest on Saturday, February 10. South will meet a Kardinals team coming off a 43-35 non-league win over South (Anchorage, AK). The Kardinals record now stands at 6-9.

The Falcons (3-17) will now prepare for their contest against Ketchikan (Ketchikan, AK). The Kings enter the 4A Southeast contest with a 14-7 record.
