Louisiana High School Baseball - New Iberia defeats North DeSoto
March 3, 2018: New Iberia, LA 70560 Spectators at Saturday's non-league battle between the New Iberia Yellowjackets (New Iberia, LA) and the visiting North DeSoto Griffins (Stonewall, LA), saw New Iberia's baseball squad beat North DeSoto by a margin of 9-2.
Coming up next, the Yellowjackets play the Breaux Bridge Tigers (Breaux Bridge, LA) in a non-league battle, on Saturday, March 3. New Iberia will attempt to better on its 4-0 season record. The Tigers enter the battle with a 2-0 record after their 1-0 non-league win over North DeSoto (Stonewall, LA).
The Griffins now sport a 1-4 record. They take the field next when they travel to Captain Shreve for a non-league battle on Monday, March 5. North DeSoto will play a Gators squad coming off a 6-5 non-league win over Eunice (Eunice, LA). The Gators record now stands at 5-1.
