The Cotopaxi Pirates basketball team (Cotopaxi, CO), was overwhelmed 49-24 in Thursday's league battle with the host Mountain Valley/Moffat Indians (Saguache, CO)

The Indians now possess a 10-3 record. They play next when they host Kim for a non-league battle on Saturday, February 4. Mountain Valley/Moffat will battle a Mustangs team coming off a 81-23 league win over South Baca [Campo/Vilas/Pritchett] (Vilas, CO). The Mustangs record now stands at 8-4.
