Norristown Eagles (Norristown, PA) backers were in high spirits Friday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Plymouth Whitemarsh Colonials (Plymouth Meeting, PA), 48-39 in a league bout.

With the win, Norristown upgrades its record to 15-5 on the season. The Eagles travel to Council Rock North (Newtown, PA) to encounter the Indians in a non-league bout on Saturday, February 11. The Indians go into the bout with a record of 16-5. Council Rock North won 73-53 in their recent league bout against Neshaminy (Langhorne, PA)
