The crowd at Friday's non-league contest between the Horizon Huskies (Scottsdale, AZ) and the visiting Central Bobcats (Phoenix, AZ), observed Horizon's football squad thwart Central by a tally of 31-15.

The Huskies now possess a 3-1 record. They play next when they travel to Mesa for a non-league contest on Friday, October 1. Horizon will play a Jackrabbits squad coming off a 20-10 league loss to Red Mountain (Mesa, AZ). The Jackrabbits record now stands at 2-3.

Coming up next, the Bobcats play the Hayden Falcons (Phoenix, AZ) in a 5A Metro contest, on Friday, October 1. Central will attempt to advance on its 2-3 season record. The Falcons go into the contest with a 1-4 record after their 49-14 league loss to South Mountain (Phoenix, AZ).
