In Tuesday's non-league outing, the Sherwood Warriors (Sandy Spring, MD) basketball squad edged the visiting Blake Bengals (Silver Spring, MD), by a count of 68-62.

The Warriors (10-9) will now prepare for their outing against Magruder (Rockville, MD). The Colonels go into the Montgomery 3A/2A outing with a 9-12 record. In their last outing, Magruder held off Whitman (Bethesda, MD), 59-53, in a non-league outing.

The Bengals now hold a 9-11 record. They play next when they travel to Paint Branch for a non-league match on Friday, February 9. Blake will face a Panthers team coming off a 52-48 non-league win over Clarksburg (Clarksburg, MD). The Panthers record now stands at 15-4.
