Texas High School Basketball - Deer Park tops Angleton
December 12, 2017: Deer Park, TX 77536 Deer Park Deer (Deer Park, TX) backers were pleased Tuesday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Angleton Wildcats (Angleton, TX), 66-46 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Deer Park upgrades its record to 15-4 on the campaign. The Deer host South Houston (South Houston, TX) to play the Trojans in a 6A Region III District 22 bout on Tuesday, December 19. The Trojans come into the bout with a record of 6-10. South Houston lost 57-49 in their recent non-league bout against Pearland (Pearland, TX)
Next up, the Wildcats play the Fulshear Chargers (Fulshear, TX) in a 5A Region IV District 27 bout, on Tuesday, December 19. Angleton will attempt to upgrade on its 8-7 season record. The Chargers come into the bout with a 2-7 record after their 63-30 non-league loss to Fort Bend Dulles (Sugar Land, TX).
