December 16, 2014: Las Cruces, NM 88001 Las Cruces BULLDAWGS (Las Cruces, NM) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Montwood Rams (El Paso, TX), 50-41 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Las Cruces upgrades its record to 5-3 on the season. The BULLDAWGS travel to Carlsbad (Carlsbad, NM) to clash with the Cavemen in a non-league game on Friday, December 19. The Cavemen enter the game with a record of 5-1. Carlsbad won 56-43 in their recent non-league game against Goddard (Roswell, NM)
With the defeat, Montwood moves to 2-8 on the year. The Rams travel to Coronado (El Paso, TX) to face the Thunderbirds in a 6A Region I District 1 game on Friday, December 19. The Thunderbirds enter the game with a record of 9-3. Coronado lost 54-39 in their recent non-league game against Bel Air (El Paso, TX)
