Ohio High School Basketball - Washington nips Ashland
January 30, 2018: Ashland, OH 44805 Washington Tigers (Massillon, OH) backers were in high spirits Tuesday as they witnessed their basketball squad tip the host Ashland Arrows (Ashland, OH), 61-59 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Washington upgrades its record to 6-6 on the season. The Tigers travel to Harding (Warren, OH) to play the Raiders in a non-league bout on Friday, February 9. The Raiders go into the bout with a record of 5-4. Harding won 62-43 in their recent league bout against Canfield (Canfield, OH)
Next up, the Arrows play the Lexington Minutemen (Lexington, OH) in a Ohio Cardinal bout, on Friday, February 2. Ashland will attempt to upgrade on its 3-13 season record. The Minutemen go into the bout with a 12-5 record after their 67-57 league loss to Mt. Vernon (Mt. Vernon, OH).
