The Springstead Eagles (Spring Hill, FL) baseball trounced the visiting Mitchell Mustangs (New Port Richey, FL), 11-5 in Tuesday's non-league contest.

Coming up next, the Eagles play the Central Bears (Brooksville, FL) in a 5A District 7 contest, on Friday, March 5. Springstead will attempt to better on its 6-0 season record. The Bears enter the contest with a 1-7 record after their 11-1 non-league loss to Ridgewood (New Port Richey, FL).

The Mustangs now sport a 3-3 record. They take the field next when they host Anclote for a 4A District 7 contest on Friday, March 5. Mitchell will confront a Sharks team coming off a 12-2 league loss to Hudson (Hudson, FL). The Sharks record now stands at 1-5.
