Kentucky High School Basketball - Rockcastle County tops Livingston Central
December 23, 2016: Mt. Vernon, KY 40456 Rockcastle County Rockets (Mt. Vernon, KY) backers were pleased Friday as they saw their basketball squad knock off the visiting Livingston Central Cardinals (Smithland, KY), 81-61 in a non-league bout.
With the victory, Rockcastle County upgrades its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Rockets travel to Allen County (Scottsville, KY) to play the Patriots in a non-league bout on Wednesday, December 28. The Patriots come into the bout with a record of 1-7. Allen County lost 61-39 in their recent non-league bout against Louisville Collegiate (Louisville, KY)
Next up, the Cardinals play the Caldwell County Tigers (Princeton, KY) in a non-league bout, on Thursday, December 29. Livingston Central will attempt to upgrade on its 5-5 season record. The Tigers come into the bout with a 2-4 record after their 96-70 non-league win over Carlisle County (Bardwell, KY).
