California High School Basketball - Dinuba topped by Merced
December 27, 2011: Dinuba, CA 93618 The Merced Bears basketball team scored 41 points and restricted the host Dinuba Emperors to 31 in the Bears non-league victory on Tuesday.
The Bears now sport a 2-7 record. They play next when they travel to Tulare Western for a non-league contest on Tuesday, December 27. Merced will meet a Mustangs team coming off a 72-67 non-league win over Tulare Union (Tulare, CA). The Mustangs record now stands at 3-1.
The Emperors (7-2) will now prepare for their contest against Kingsburg (Kingsburg, CA). The Vikings come into the Central Sequoia contest with a 6-7 record. In their last contest, Kingsburg dropped by Liberty (Brentwood, CA), 41-29, in a non-league contest.
