January 12, 2010: Asbury Park, NJ 07712 Fans at Tuesday's league challenge between the Asbury Park Bishops (Asbury Park, NJ) and the visiting Keyport Raiders (Keyport, NJ), saw Asbury Park's basketball squad knock off Keyport by a score of 58-48.
With the victory, Asbury Park improves its record to 6-2 on the campaign. The Bishops travel to Hudson Regional (Highlands, NJ) to battle the Admirals in a Shore B - Central challenge on Thursday, January 14. The Admirals come into the challenge with a record of 3-6. Hudson Regional lost 38-33 in their recent league challenge against Keansburg (Keansburg, NJ)
Next up, the Raiders battle the Point Pleasant Beach Garnet Gulls (Point Pleasant Beach, NJ) in a Shore B - Central challenge, on Thursday, January 14. Keyport will attempt to improve on its 3-4 season record. The Garnet Gulls come into the battle with a 5-1 record after their 72-53 non-league win over Pinelands Regional (Tuckerton, NJ).
