Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Chavez Champions (Laveen, AZ) and the host Ironwood Eagles (Glendale, AZ), saw Chavez's basketball squad wallop Ironwood by a tally of 79-58.

With the victory, Chavez improves its record to 26-2 on the campaign. The Champions travel to Millennium (Goodyear, AZ) to confront the Tigers in a non-league challenge on Saturday, February 9. The Tigers come into the challenge with a record of 23-4. Millennium won 75-69 in their recent league challenge against Westview (Avondale, AZ)
