The Omaha North Vikings (Omaha, NE) football edged the host Omaha Central Eagles (Omaha, NE), 35-28 in Friday's league bout.

In their next game, the Vikings face the Omaha South Packers (Omaha, NE) in a A District 3 bout, on Friday, October 10. Omaha North will attempt to advance on its 6-0 season record. The Packers enter the bout with a 1-5 record after their 42-12 non-league loss to Columbus (Columbus, NE).

The Eagles (4-2) will now prepare for their bout against Bellevue East (Bellevue, NE). The Chieftains enter the A District 3 bout with a 3-3 record. In their last bout, Bellevue East was nudged by Creighton Prep (Omaha, NE), 57-13, in a league bout.
