January 15, 2011: Dayton, OH 45416 Meadowdale Lions (Dayton, OH) backers were in high spirits Saturday as they witnessed their basketball squad thwart the visiting Perspectives-IIT Math & Science/Joslin (Chicago, IL), 79-69 in a non-league bout.
With the win, Meadowdale upgrades its record to 7-4 on the season. The Lions host Ponitz Career Tech (Dayton, OH) to play the Golden Panthers in a Dayton Public bout on Friday, January 21. The Golden Panthers go into the bout with a record of 4-7. Ponitz Career Tech won 70-65 in their recent non-league bout against Northridge (Dayton, OH)
Next up, the face the St. John's Prep Eagles (Danvers, MA) in a non-league game, on Monday, January 17. Perspectives-IIT Math & Science/Joslin will attempt to move on its 3-6 season record. The Eagles enter the game with a 8-0 record after their 65-62 league win over Catholic Memorial (West Roxbury, MA).
