Fans at Friday's non-league challenge between the Tempe Buffaloes (Tempe, AZ) and the visiting McClintock Chargers (Tempe, AZ), saw Tempe's basketball squad hold off McClintock by a score of 69-67.

With the victory, Tempe improves its record to 5-4 on the campaign. The Buffaloes host Higley (Gilbert, AZ) to battle the Knights in a 4A East Sky challenge on Tuesday, December 15. The Knights come into the challenge with a record of 0-5. Higley lost 62-30 in their recent non-league challenge against Apache Junction (Apache Junction, AZ)

Next up, the Chargers battle the Thunderbird Chiefs (Phoenix, AZ) in a non-league challenge, on Thursday, December 17. McClintock will attempt to improve on its 6-3 season record.
